Name of Detectives: Patrick Kenzie and Angela Gennaro Sidekicks: Bubba Rogowski-- an old childhood friend and sometimes-backup. Hometown: We were born and bred in Dorchester, Massachusetts, a suburb of Boston, where we both still live. Quirks: Our current office is in an abandoned church belfry. Occupation: Professional private investigators. How did you get involved in sleuthing? We grew up together and went into private investigating as partners in A Drink Before the War. It helps that we have lots of old friends on the Dorchester police force. First mystery solved In A Drink Before the War, a U.S. senator asked us to recover some confidential documents that his cleaning women stole. Role models: Nick & Nora Charles-- only we're a lot tougher! Distinguishing characteristics: Grew up together, played together, and fell in love with one another, with a million obstacles in the way, including Angie's former marriage to Patrick's best friend. Marital status: We're currently seeing each other. |
